Pastor of Family Discipleship

Rev. Andrew Wilson
Rev. Andrew Wilson
Extension 103
Andrew is from North Georgia. He has a certificate in Christian Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education at Kennesaw State University.
Prior to joining the family at First Baptist Church of Emerson, Andrew served at Cartersville First Baptist Church. Andrew worked eleven years in telecommunications before God led him to make ministry his vocation.
Andrew loves the one and true God with all his heart, soul, and mind. He has always claimed Deuteronomy 6:4-7 as a life verse. He wraps himself in God’s love and embraces the truth of a risen Savior in hopes that through his ministry God will be glorified and the church will be edified. Andrew is thrilled with being able to work with helping families.
Andrew’s wife, Haley, is an incredible compliment to his ministry. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University and teaches fourth grade at Cartersville Elementary School. They have three beautiful children, Annaston, who is full of life, Sawyer, who tries to hide from his big sister, and Maddox, who is growing up fast!
