What can I expect on my first visit?
You can expect a friendly, welcoming atmosphere! We will do our best to make you feel comfortable.

Do you offer more than one type of worship experience? When are your services?
Yes!  We have two services each Sunday. Our 8:30 a.m. service is a traditional worship service, and our 11:00 a.m. service is contemporary in style. We also offer Sunday school for all age groups at 9:45 a.m.

What can I expect at each type of worship service?
Our early morning service has a traditional style and begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. It concludes in plenty of time for you to attend Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. We sing hymns accompanied by piano, keyboard, and on occasion other instruments. This worship service is driven by our choir who also provide us with special music.

Our late morning worship service is around 75 minutes in duration and begins at 11:00 a.m. This service is driven by a band and is contemporary in style. We sing praise and worship songs that you may have heard on Christian radio.

The music in both services is selected to compliment that morning’s message. We offer powerful preaching in each service from our lead pastor, Dr. Warner A. Smith.

Where do I take my children?
Our Kid’s Cove is designed to provide children 1st through 6th grades with a worship experience geared to their needs. They will sing songs with choreographed movements, play games that relate to the lesson of the day, participate in small groups to deepen understanding of the lesson’s concepts and most importantly – have fun! Our goal is to teach your children that choosing to live for God is best and also a blast!

We also offer a nurturing learning environment for our infants and preschoolers during both services. Our preschool ministry is designed to offer a safe and secure environment for preschoolers to learn that God loves them and so do the people at church. Our teachers use learning centers designed to capitalize upon the eight ways that preschoolers learn – senses, curiosity, hands on experience, satisfaction, relationships, imitation, play and repetition. These methods are applied over and over to the child in an effort to deepen their understanding of basic Biblical principles.

Due to our increasingly changing world, your child’s security is of the utmost importance to our church staff. For this reason, we require everyone with a preschooler or child to check in. Please sign your infant or preschooler in at the Ministry Center in the main lobby and/or your 1st-6th grade child at the desk in the east lobby. Preschoolers and children will only be released to the person that dropped them off. No child will be allowed to go and find their parent. Parents must come and pick up their children. After you check your child in, one of our greeters will be happy to guide you and your child to the correct classroom.

What do you offer for students?
We have an excellent program for our youth, led by our Pastor of Family Discipleship, Andrew Wilson. Youth, in grades seven to twelve, enjoy a time of fellowship and learning during our Sunday school hour. Wednesday nights offer Encounter at 7:00 p.m. We also have many events for youth throughout the year such as paintball, lock-ins, retreats to the mountains or beach, youth-based worship services, and much more!
